Poison does Moby Dick

Poison has been on tour this summer with Def Leppard and Lita Ford and one of the numbers in their set has been Led Zeppelin’s Moby Dick. Their version features a short drum solo by Rikki Rockett. Enjoy!

15 Years!

Hard to believe a small idea of building a Robert Plant website 15 years ago would still lead to it being around. Thank you for the support throughout the years.

Still making changes to the new design and working on updates for the setlist section to include full reviews and videos as well as setlists. Should be a great Summer with Robert on the road promoting the Band of Joy album.

Thanks again for your continued support of the website.

Plant’s Nasvhille Show

I have received a few emailed about last Wednesday’s Plant show in Nasvhille (2/9). The show went out although the weather conditions weren’t the greatest outside. Many people were unable to make it to the show. The War Memorial Auditorium posted the following on their facebook page:

Following public response and Tennessean story about the decision not to cancel the 2/9 Robert Plant show, TPAC notes: decisions to cancel/reschedule performances and offer refunds are at the discretion of the producers, artists, agents, and promoters. It was not TPAC’s decision to make, unless a state of emergency had been declared. We understand that the promoter, Outback Concerts, is reviewing the situation.

I will pass along more information when it become available.

Band of Joy goes 0 for 2 at Grammy Awards

Robert failed to capture any Grammy Awards this time around losing to Paul McCartney’s Helter Skelter in the Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance category and best Americana album to Mavis Staples. Since the album was released in September it would still be elgible for Grammy nominations in 2012.
